We are working with a global facilities management company who are market leaders in every industry from aviation, hospitality, rail, construction and more, in their search for a new IT Procurement Manager.This exciting and strategic position will be supporting the company's award-winning services; joining the Indirect Procurement Team through their aggressive growth strategy.With bases in both Ipswich and Central London - there is flexibility on where you work on a hybrid basis, with occasional travel between offices.If you're a driven and ambitious Procurement Manager with experience in technology and IT, this could be the perfect position for you.Key Responsibilities:Plan, define & execute a category strategy that will secure not only immediate success, but also long term goals.Audit and assess current contracts, mitigate any risks and implement improvements where needed.Drive performance by managing KPIs and & SLAs with current suppliers.Engage suppliers and build sustainable relationships, manage expectations and communicate effectively to achieve a structured and resilient supply chain.Collaborate closely with the Head of Indirect Procurement in high risk or high value opportunities.Manage end-to-end sourcing activities, implement cost-based reduction strategies capable of delivering annual target savings.To Be Successful:Excellent diplomatic communication through a range of stakeholders up to c-suite.Track record or devising the sourcing strategy and taking accountability for the strategic direction.Good knowledge and understanding of the supplier markets in technology - bringing commercial advantages to the business.Strong skills in influencing and negotiation.Analytical, results driven and a genuine team player.MCIPS desirable but not essential.In Return:salary circa £70k DOE.25 days AL + Bank holidays.Retail discounts.Regular events and charity events.Discounted gym membership.Cycle to work scheme, eye care vouchers, Mental Health First Aid, D&I Initiatives.Ongoing learning and development opportunities.Professional membership fees paid for.For further information, or a confidential conversation, reach out to Natalie - [email protected] today.WE CAN ONLY ACCEPT APPLICATIONS FROM CANDIDATES WHO HAVE CURRENT ELIGIBILITY TO LIVE AND WORK IN THE UK.
