Director of Professional Growth

Location: Hybrid - Travelling to 8 homes across England, predominantly home working with head office in London Salary: £80,000 - £85,000 + up to 20% bonus + £6k car allowance or company car Contract: Permanent, full-time Elizabeth Finn Homes is a well-established provider of high-quality care, operating 8 care homes across England. We are searching for an experienced People Director to join our executive team, driving our people strategy and supporting our mission to deliver excellent care. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior HR professional to work in a socially driven organisation playing a key role in shaping the workforce that ensures top-level care. As People Director , you'll report to the CEO and take responsibility for leading the HR function across multiple sites. You will play a crucial role in championing a culture of inclusivity, employee engagement, and wellbeing, while overseeing recruitment, talent development and HR operations. This role offers the opportunity to work flexibly, combining home working with regular travel to our care homes and London office. We're looking for a forward-thinking, compassionate leader who can bring strategic HR experience and a passion for people development. You will have proven experience in a senior HR role, ideally in a healthcare, social care or regulated environment. Proven experience as a People Director, HR Director , or equivalent senior role in a multi-site organisation Strong knowledge of HR functions, talent management, and employee engagement Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills Empathy, integrity, and a commitment to fostering a positive working culture Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's or CIPD qualification preferred) Bonus: Up to 20% non-contractual performance-based bonus Car Allowance: £6,000 or company car Benefits: Private medical and dental insurance, enhanced family leave and sickness pay, competitive pension Flexible working with hybrid arrangements If you are an experienced HR leader ready to make a real difference in the care sector, we want to hear from you.
