Production Operative

We are currently recruiting for Production Operatives to join our client's team at their facility in Marchington, Staffordshire. This is temporary work for a contract term of up to 8 weeks initially.

• We are only accepting applications from candidates with a drivers licence and their own car/motorbike due to the location of the work.

Production Operative key job details:

• Rotating weekly: 07 30 rotating to 09:00 to 17:30
• Monday to Friday
• Pay rate: 12.50ph, weekly pay

Production Operative duties:

• Movement of heavy-weighted items using dollys (wheeled platforms) and pallet trucks
• Ensuring products are in relevant dispatch bays
• Some roles will include basic cosmetic repair of the stock which full training is provided on. This can be using basic hand tools and materials
• Follow instructions and daily tasks from Supervisors
• Comply with health and safety at all times

Production Operative person specification:

• Must have drivers licence and your own transport due to location of the work
• Must be OK with manual lifting duties
• Good English level (verbal / reading) is required
• Must be able to work both shift times as it is a rotating shift pattern
