Reactive Maintenance Engineer

Reactive Maintenance Engineer £37 -40K per annum 12 hour shifts Days 6am – 6pm 4 on 4 off Grantham Our local client is looking for a Reactive Maintenance Engineer to join their existing team. Working in a small team the Reactive Maintenance Engineer will be working on a wide range of Machinery, overhauling, and adapting along with reactive and planned maintenance. Duties include: * Knowledge of - Conveyors, welding pipework, hydraulics, pneumatics. * You would be able to look for continuous improvement of the plant to identify new methods and procedures. * Able to work as part of a small team with a flexible and a right first-time approach. * Good attention to detail is essential, the role of an Engineer is vital to our operation. * A good understanding of work-based instructions and the ability to pick up new ways of working quickly. * Reactive maintenance across the site to ensure optimal performance. * Mechanically replacing bearings, compressor checks, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. * Completing all relevant documentation to a high standard. * Basic facility and site service maintenance when required. Candidates will be required to provide reactive maintenance cover across the site. They will be required to replace bearings, compressor checks, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Candidates need a minimum of Level 3 and some experience with hydraulics and pneumatics is essential. Ideally applicants will have mechanical skills and exposure in a production driven environment would be helpful.
