Job Description:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:
Managing the financial aspects of projects, including cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting
Collaborating with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
Conducting site inspections and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
Negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers to secure the best possible deals
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably for a Tier 1 main contractor
Strong knowledge of construction costs, procurement, and contract law
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Chartered status (MRICS or FCIOB) or working towards it
