About the role:
Behaviour Mentor PRU based in Hackney
Work closely with young people with challenging behaviour in order to help them overcome their challenges
In the event that a student faces a difficult time, we will provide support and mentoring
To act as a positive role model for young people by setting a good example for them
Provide one-to-one support or group support for small groups
Support or lead intervention groups that are targeted at students with challenging behaviour problems or who show signs of SEMH problems
Maintain close contact with class teachers and other members of the behavioural teaching team in order to inform them of the progress of the students. About the School:
Behaviour Mentor in Secondary School based in Hackney
At the moment, Teach360 are working with a PRU located in Hackney. The provision provides a service for children who are not able to attend a mainstream school due to their disabilities. Frequently, if a pupil needs more care and support than his or her school is capable of providing, the school will refer him or her there. This PRU has approx. 60 students and over 100 staff members . each staff member has training which is used to support their students.
