The Role: As a Paint Technician, you will be responsible for preparing and painting a variety of vehicles, including electric and hybrid models. Key responsibilities include: * Surface Preparation: Clean, sand, and mask vehicle surfaces for painting. * Paint Mixing and Application: Mix paint to match vehicle colours and apply it using spray guns and specialized equipment. * Spray Booth Management: Ensure the spray booth operates efficiently, producing high-quality finishes. * Quality Control: Ensure all paint jobs meet both customer expectations and industry standards. * Team Collaboration: Work closely with the team to meet deadlines and deliver excellent results. * Health & Safety: Maintain a clean, organised workspace while following all health and safety protocols. About You: We’re looking for an experienced, fully qualified Paint Technician with the following: * Proven Experience: Strong background in vehicle paint repair, ideally within accident repair environments. * Vehicle Expertise: Experience with a range of vehicles, including electric and hybrid models. * Technical Skills: Deep understanding of automotive painting techniques, materials, and equipment. * Attention to Detail: A commitment to precision and quality in every task. * Team Player: Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude. * Qualifications: A Senior ATA Paint qualification is highly desirable, and we offer support in renewing or achieving it.
