Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our client. The Estimator will be responsible for analysing project specifications and preparing cost estimates for construction projects. Job Purpose: The Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate net estimates of project costs and managing the submission of tender offers to clients. This role involves working on both traditional and non-traditional forms of procurement, ensuring competitive and accurate tenders in line with the client’s requirements. Key Requirements: * Proven experience as an Estimator with a successful track record of delivering a variety of tenders. * Experience with multiple construction methods and procurement processes. * Strong understanding of cost control, timing, and quality management. * Proficient in interpreting drawings and technical specifications. * A good standard of mathematical ability. * Minimum of a Level 4 qualification (HNC/NVQ4 or similar). * A relevant degree in a construction-related field. * Experience with Conquest Estimating System or similar software. Skills & Attributes: * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. * Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. * Effective communication and interpersonal skills. * Proactive and able to work independently as well as in a team.
