Speech & Language Teaching Assistant | Brent, NW2 | £95-£105 | Long-term to Perm | ASAP Start Are you passionate about supporting children with ASD and Speech & Language needs? LTF Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join the support team at a fantastic primary school in Brent, NW2. This role focuses on assisting Reception-aged children with ASD and speech and language difficulties, helping them access learning and develop key communication and social skills. Key Responsibilities: Build positive relationships with pupils to foster engagement and enjoyment in learning. Create a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes the child's development and well-being. Implement tailored learning plans and strategies under the guidance of the class teacher. Support children in developing communication and social skills. Monitor and record pupils' progress, providing feedback to the class teacher and SENCO. Assist with daily routines and ensure children's needs are met in a caring and supportive manner. Qualifications and Experience: Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or relevant equivalent. Previous experience supporting children with ASD and speech and language needs. Knowledge of communication strategies and alternative communication systems.
