As a Principal Geotechnical Engineer, you will play a critical role in providing geotechnical expertise and leadership in the development of renewable energy projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead geotechnical investigations and provide expert analysis for renewable energy projects.
- Oversee the design and implementation of geotechnical solutions for project sites.
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are met.
- Prepare and review geotechnical reports, proposals, and technical documents.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Identify and mitigate geotechnical risks associated with renewable energy projects.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and team members.
- Stay updated with the latest developments and advancements in geotechnical engineering and renewable energy sectors.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Principal Geotechnical Engineer, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
- Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles and practices.
- Experience in leading geotechnical investigations and project design.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in relevant geotechnical software and tools.
- A degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional registration or chartered status is advantageous.
