Lead Buyer - Scunthorpe - £30,000 to £35,000 Principal IT are working with a rapidly growing business based in Scunthorpe which have offices in Hull & Peterborough. They are currently on the lookout for an IT Lead Buyer to join them on a permanent basis. Responsibilities: Working closely with internal teams, including sales, projects, and engineering, to ensure that our customers receive top quality equipment while securing the best value for our business investments. You'll play a crucial role in refining our tender processes and procurement standards. Conducting regular tender exercises and evaluating suppliers to ensure our procurement activities keep us ahead of the competition. This role goes beyond operational tasks; you'll collaborate with senior team members, contributing to strategic projects and refining our procurement approach to align with business goals. Overseeing the delivery of equipment and licenses across a range of IT infrastructure projects, ensuring smooth and timely delivery of technology solutions for customers through careful planning and coordination. Partnering with project managers to ensure that our internal teams have the necessary equipment and resources available when needed, facilitating efficient project execution.
