Flexi/Bendi Forklift Operative

Our highly established and rapidly growing client based in Biggleswade are a Flexi/Bendi Forklift Operative to join their team on a Temp to Perm basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates who have experience within Warehousing and Logistics to grow within their career.

The hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 12pm-10pm (45hr week, with overtime available)

The salary for this position is £27,000 per annum, with an opportunity to increase after 6 months probation.

Main duties as a Warehouse / Forklift Operative:
- Forklift operation, making sure they are moved safely in a busy industrial environment
- To stack and unstack large quantities of stock onto shelves/pallets in a safe manner
- Unload deliveries, safely relocating the goods to their designated areas
- Moving goods from storage areas to loading areas for transport
- Maintaining a safe and tidy forklift driving area, clearing up any spills or obstructions
- Use industrial plastics wraps and wooden pallets to safely stack and package goods for transport
- Making sure all Health and Safety protocols are correctly adhered to
- Keeping up to date with regular Forklift checks and Maintenance

What is needed as a Warehouse / Forklift Operative:
- A valid Flexi/Bendi Forklift license (a valid PPT & Counterbalance license would be considered)
- Warehouse and Logistics experience is essential
- Ideally to be available immediately
- Physically fit
- A strong working attitude with a great attendance record
- Team player
- Great attention to detail
