A great opportunity has arisen to join our client who are a successful solid surface fabrication company who have been established over 35 years during which they have amassed a wealth of knowledge, experience and achieved various accreditations from brand leaders. Their UK wide client base includes recognisable retail and commercial names and as a result, their large-scale installation logistics network reflects this. They are an innovative company who are at the forefront of their industry with a fun and friendly but professional working environment. Due to growth in their business, they are seeking an experienced CAD Operator to join their small and dedicated team and be a huge part of their success in the business based in Morley. They are seeking someone who not only has valued experience as a CAD Operator but who is also enthusiastic, dedicated and ambitious who want to make a difference and help them achieve their goals THE ROLE: The purpose of this role is to aid the smooth operation of our CAD department and maintain a steady workflow to our fabrication team. The duties for this role include: Ensure the processing of all hardboard templates is carried out in an efficient and timely manner Converting digital files to approval drawings Programming jobs for CNC production Ensuring consistent high standards, especially when working to tight deadlines on time sensitive projects Dealing with all queries effectively and liaising with customers and colleagues to resolve any specification or technical issues Fastidious record keeping on the company's central production system. THE CANDIDATE: AutoCAD experience is essential Experience of working with solid surface is advantageous but not essential Experience of AlphaCam software is advantageous but not essential Computer literacy with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Access Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently, taking ownership of projects with minimal supervision to accomplish team goals and objectives Must have a methodical and organised approach to work, with excellent time management Impeccable attention to detail, particularly to details of specification including numbers and dates Ability to thrive under pressure and adhere to constant and challenging deadlines Must be able to build strong relationships at all levels, both across our business and with the personnel of our valued customer base THE BENEFITS: 24 days holiday plus BH Company pension THE CONSULTANCY: Edwards & Pearce acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
