Production Operative (Permanent role)

Title: Production Operative

Salary: £11.50 per hour + Paid overtime

Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm

Location: Whetstone, Leicestershire

Permanent role and immediately available

The Production Operative Role:

• A proactive role, carrying out various duties from initial picking of materials through to packing for dispatch, operating as part of a small team
• Following specifications and ensuring accuracy in the work carried out
• Using various hand tools and soldering
• Managing and maintaining stock levels
• Quality checking items
• Reporting into the Production Manager and ensuring meeting production targets
• Comply with health and safety and general house keeping

You ll Need:

• Previous experience of working in a manufacturing or engineering setting isn't essential, however desirable
• Manual handling will be expected as part of the role
• Excellent problem solving skills
• IT Literate
• Good awareness of Health & Safety in a manufacturing environment
• Full UK Driving Licence is preferred as you may be required to support with deliveries during busier times
