Head of UK Recruitment – Elderly Care Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum DOE + up to 20% annual discretionary bonus Hybrid with national travel Compass Corporate Services are proud to be partnering exclusively with a leading provider of elderly care services. Our client is a market leading, family-owned care group operating over 80-homes across the UK with significant expansion plans. They strive to provide the highest quality care within their bespoke homes that are bolstered with exceptional care teams. Together we are searching for a dynamic Head of UK Recruitment to lead from the front in the delivery of recruitment initiatives. A recruitment delivery specialist, with a track record in sourcing high quality candidates is required for the position. As Head of UK Recruitment, you will manage the local recruitment team and report directly to the Recruitment Director, working as a united team to support their expanding portfolio. This role is centred around delivery, with strategic oversight falling under the Recruitment Director, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in day-to-day recruitment activities. Previous experience in an internal appointment within the independent care home industry is imperative for this role. Your deeply rooted knowledge, paired with your extensive network, will allow you to hit the ground running. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with home managers to reduce dependency on agencies, creating innovative approaches to streamline recruitment plans and training staff to recruit more efficiently. You'll stay closely connected to the industry, ensuring a constant pulse on recruitment trends and challenges. Additionally, you'll collaborate with the Recruitment Director on pulling reports, monitoring KPIs, and continuously seeking ways to enhance recruitment effectiveness. Stakeholder management will also be a key part of your role, working with agency account managers to ensure the organisation’s recruitment needs are met. It is envisaged that this is a full-time permanent role. This is a hybrid position, based from home, with nationwide travel to services throughout the UK. Proven track record in successfully leading internal, high volume, UK recruitment efforts. Extensive experience in the care home industry, with a clear understanding of the challenges faced within the sector and an ample network. Experience streamlining processes to produce high quality outcomes and support in the reduction of agency costs. Comfortable with national travel elements of the role. Exceptional people skills, with experience in direct-line management The first stage will be an initial call and informal discussion with the Recruitment Director. The second stage will consist of a formal, in-person interview with the Recruitment Director and CEO.
