We are seeking an experienced Account Director to act as a Sales Overlay Specialist joining our dynamic, newly created team. In this role, you will focus on driving new business by promoting our comprehensive portfolio of packet services to our existing client base. Your primary responsibilities will include building strong relationships with both customers and internal stakeholders, effectively positioning Zayo's packet services, and achieving direct sales targets.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in an autonomous environment, excels at working closely with clients and internal teams, and has a proven track record in packet services sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales growth by targeting and securing new business opportunities within the existing client base.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Maintain high levels of responsiveness to client needs and deliver accurate sales forecasts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and meet revenue goals.
- Utilise Salesforce and other tools to track, analyse, and report on sales activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in packet services, sales, or a related field.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Strong financial acumen and strategic planning abilities.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and time-management skills.
- Adaptable, eager to learn, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet client and business needs.
