Position : Specialist Tandoori Chef De Partie Employer : High end Indian restaurant Location: Edinburgh, Scotland Gross OTE salary package : circa £34,000 + (incl.share of serv. chge + targeted bonus) Weekly working hours / days 48 hours / 5 days Benefits & Entitlements: 28 days paid holiday (pro rata) incentives, employers workplace pension, employee care and wellbeing support + more Your role involves skillful preparation of complex South Asian Tandoori dishes and speciality breads specific to the regional theme of the establishent and its menus. You will be responsible for a series of kitchen operational duties commensurate with job role, including training and supervising Commi Chefs and other junior kitchen staff To qualify for selection you must have the following minimum requirements: - Eligibility to live and work in UK Experience in the preparation of authentic high quality Tandoori dishes & Specialties Technical knowledge of ingredient quality, sourcing, measure & formulation Industrial training in a world renowned culinary/hospitality institute such as Taj, Oberoi, ITC or similar Previous experience of at least 3 years in this role + min 3 years of prior experience in escalating job roles Relevant Health & Safety credentials and knowledge of HACCP protocols Evidence of sound health and fitness ie.
