Workshop Assistant

Workshop Engineer Assistant A P Tools Limited are currently looking for a Workshop Assistant in Hamble, Southampton. The ideal candidate will come from a mechanical background, will ideally have experience with basic tool maintenance and repair work and will be based within a commutable distance of Southampton. Workshop Assistant Position Overview * Repair and maintenance of Pneumatic and electric tools (training provided) * PAT Testing (training provided) * HAV Testing (training provided) * Fault finding * Occasional manual lifting * Computer data input * Communicating with customers via telephone, email & face to face * Will be required to work away on occasions Workshop Assistant Position Requirements * Previous hands-on mechanical experience (Preferred) * Competent with basic mechanical principles * An eagerness to learn and take on new skills * Excellent verbal communication skills * Able to work unsupervised * Sage knowledge preferred (training provided) * Full clean Driving Licence essential * Based within a commutable distance of Southampton Workshop Assistant Position Remuneration Salary - DOE Monday – Thursday - 7.30am to 4.00pm Friday – 7.30am to 1.00pm Workshop Assistant Benefits: * 25 days annual leave including public holidays * Pension Scheme
