Commercial Estimator

Commercial Estimator Location: Radstock, Bath, Somerset Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday 7-4/4:30. Position will be full time office/site based. Salary: £40-45K DOE Job Overview I am working with a well-established, family-run business based in Radstock who are looking to add to their team with the addition of a new Estimator. The ideal candidate will be a proactive experienced estimator who can hit the ground running within the fenestration market. You will be responsible for analysing project specifications and preparing cost estimates for construction projects. Person Specification: * Must have proven experience in estimating within the fenestration market sector * Ideally will have a strong background dealing with architectural glazing, curtain walling, fire rated glazing, structural glazing, windows & doors. * Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings * Must be IT literate (Microsoft Office) * Excellent communication skills both written and verbal * Excellent analytical and numerical skills * Proactive and motivated individual with strong commercial awareness Duties * Liaising with customers to understand requirements and manage expectations * Advising and supporting customer with specification and compliance queries * Extracting information from tender drawings to allow quotations to be prepared and submitted * Maintaining and developing professional relationships with current clients, as well as sourcing new clients to help future business development * Liaising with customers via phone and through the website * Producing high value tenders covering all aspects of architectural glass and glazing * Carefully inspecting tender documentation and analysing exact requirements * Review project drawings and specifications For further information please contact Tanya on (phone number removed) Riverside Recruitment are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy
