Superconductivity Technician  Contract: Full-Time Salary £28,000 to 30,000 per annum Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday) Start Date: Immediate Job Purpose: Our client, a world-leading manufacturing company specializing in the applications of superconductivity, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented technician to work on the preparation of superconducting magnets. These magnets are crucial components in systems such as Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). Core Responsibilities: Prepare superconducting magnets for use in NMR and MRI applications. operate coil winding machine Follow detailed instructions and specifications to ensure high-quality magnet preparation. Perform routine inspections and quality checks to ensure all magnets meet company standards. Report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and in good working condition. Participate in comprehensive training programs to learn the necessary skills and techniques for magnet preparation. Continuously develop skills and knowledge related to superconducting magnet technology. Qualifications and Skills: Ability to focus on intricate tasks and maintain high standards of accuracy. Capacity to work meticulously over extended periods. Basic understanding of technical concepts; prior experience is not required as full training will be provided.  Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
