Step into an exciting role as an Electronics Production Technician / PCB Assembler in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, focused on crafting high-quality electronic products.
Reporting to the Production Manager, your daily responsibilities will encompass product assembly, logistics, and testing - ensuring that integrity is maintained throughout the manufacturing process. Honesty, consistency, and attention to detail will be your guiding principles as you strive to uphold the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Execute product assembly with utmost integrity.
* Maintain test solutions and support the development team in fault-finding.
* Participate in production builds, new product introductions, and prototype builds.
* Contribute to the improvement of existing processes and the development of new production methods.
Skills & Experience Required:
Personal Competencies:
* Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Strong communication skills, with a knack for teamwork and independent work.
* Ability to exercise sound judgment and perform well under pressure.
* Effective time management and the ability to operate autonomously.
* Ownership of tasks with a focus on timely and efficient problem resolution.
* Diligent in compliance and quality assurance.
Technical Skills:
* HND/HNC in Electronic Engineering or equivalent (considering relevant experience).
* At least 2 years in an electronic product manufacturing/production environment.
Desired Technical Skills:
* IPC training.
* Experience with through-hole soldering.
* Proficiency in interpreting assembly drawings and specifications.
* Background in assembling components for electronic equipment.
Candidates must be British Citizens and capable of obtaining and maintaining an unconditional DV security clearance.
