Bioanalytical Scientist (Protein Characterisation)

CY Partners have an exciting new role with a global pharamaceutical company at their site based in Hertfordshire. The role is an initial 12 month contract, with good scope for further employment, offering a salary of £43,000 - £48,000 DOE. The role will allow for hybrid working. You will be a member of the R&D Large Molecule team, which is well established. The role also offers healthcare and wellbeing programmes along with other benefits. Role Responsibilities Plan, design, and execute experiments to characterise proteins using biophysical methods, such as SEC, DLS and DSF Communicate experimental outcomes to non-experts on multi-disciplinary project teams Keep high quality electronic lab notebooks Key Requirements PhD or equivalent experience in chemical or biological sciences. Demonstrated, hands-on experience characterising proteins using biophysical methods Also beneficial to have the following;  Experience in working with automated liquid handlers Familiarity with antibody drug discovery processes Experience characterising protein-protein interactions using surface plasmon resonance
