Managing Conveyancer

Working for one of Taylor Rose’s most successful property consultant groups, they are looking for an experienced supervisor, able to support their expanding team with the day-to-day oversight and sign off of files. The main role of the Managing Conveyancer is to take full responsibility for the day-today running of a team of conveyancers. Duties will include but will not be limited to: You will quality check files prior to sign off as well as quarterly file reviews You will quality check enquiries and reports You will sign off title for purchase files You will assist Case Handlers with complex enquiries within the team You will ensure our clients and introducers always receive the best possible service to ensure we receive excellent feedback and repeat business You will ensure Case Handlers comply and stay up to date with all compliance and training requirements You will ensure Case Handlers pass their internal file audits You will ensure that you use the case management system fully and will follow all company guidelines when doing so You will be targeted against KPI’s as set out by your Team Leader/Head of Dept Any other duties required to assist the department should the need arise Essential Skills : At least 10 years’ experience as a Conveyancer running your own complex caseload (including Freehold and Leasehold Sales and Purchases) You will have proven experience as a senior conveyancer and will be able to demonstrate a strong technical knowledge of residential conveyancing transactions To show an ability to deal with clients to the very highest standard of care Keen eye for detail, with strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage a team of 25 Case Handlers Remain up to date with legal updates and changes Good IT skills and Experience of using a case management system A conveyancing qualification would be desirable Possess excellent interpersonal skills Excellent client care skills Desired Skills Strong experience of New Build, Shared Ownership, Transfers of Part Experience managing a conveyancing department Experience of training junior conveyancers Experience with CQS requirements
