Intermediate Service Charge Accountant – SE London office (Hybrid working) – £32-36k to start Are you looking for your next step in Service Charge Accounting? Our client is based close to Waterloo and is looking to hire an intermediate Service Charge Accountant / Assistant stepping up as follows: * Working alongside the wider accounts and property management teams dealing with the full cycle of Service Charge matters * Liaising with leaseholders, freeholders and RMC directors, acting as first point of contact for queries whilst keeping line managers and the wider property management function informed * Using QUBE as the in-house CRM (exposure to this would be beneficial but full training can be provided for those with good general IT awareness) * Daily/Monthly reconciliation of bank accounts * Producing monthly/quarterly statements * HMRC returns and reporting * Providing accounting data for year-end accounts/audit * 1 years’ service charge exposure essential (at any level) * Initially office based to start, moving to hybrid (2 days from home) once settled and up to speed with systems/expectations For the successful intermediate Service Charge Accountant / Assistant, remuneration will include a basic salary up to £36k to start alongside encouragement and funding for professional development and a genuine career path.
