We are seeking experienced Machining & Assembly Team Members to join our high-precision manufacturing team on a temporary basis. In this role, you will be responsible for operating milling machines, assembling parts, and ensuring the production of high-quality components for various industries. This role is based on a Temporary Basis - which is ongoing with Guaranteed weekly hours These roles will be on a 2 shift rotation pattern A shift - Monday - Thursday - 6am - 13.35pm and Friday 6am - 12.45pm B Shift (20% Premium) Monday - Thursday 13.25pm - 21.05pm and Friday 12.35pm - 19.00pm Hourly rates for these roles vary depending on experience starting from £11.79 - £15.31 - This will be discussed at Interview Your Time at Work - Operate milling machines and other precision tools to produce and shape parts according to detailed specifications. - Set up and adjust machinery for each production run, ensuring that measurements and calibrations are correct. - Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify quality and accuracy. - Assemble machined parts and subassemblies, following technical drawings and assembly instructions. - Perform routine maintenance on machinery and tools to ensure they are operating efficiently and safely. - Document production details, including quantities, materials used, and any deviations from standards. - Collaborate with team members and supervisors to troubleshoot machinery issues and resolve any production bottlenecks. - Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE while working with machinery and tools. Our Perfect Worker Ideal candidates will have a background in machining or mechanical assembly, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work with precision tools and equipment. We are willing to seek and speak to applicants with minimal experience in the above. With a background in manufacturing/production, though this is NOT essential.
