Buyer My client, an exciting organization who specialises in cutting-edge defence systems and technology solutions for global military applications, are in search of a Buyer to join their Purchasing Team and oversee procurement activities and drive the supply chain strategy. The role will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality products, at the most competitive costs through developing and driving strong supplier partnerships. Responsibilities: * Oversee the procurement activities of engineering—focused suppliers * Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to deliver a high performing supply chain network * Drive continuous improvement * Identify and develop new supply sources that meet requirements and business needs * Facilitate the introduction of new parts, adapting the supply chain to support emerging needs Qualifications: * Strong analytical skills * Well adept with MRP/ERP systems * Experience in a technical, engineering and manufacturing buying role * CIPS or studying towards would be advantageous This role presents an excellent opportunity to advance your career in purchasing with an exciting company that provides flexible work arrangements, a competitive salary, and numerous other benefits
