Head of Service Charge Accounts – Waterloo – £50k - £60k (part home based) We’re working with a well established Property Consultancy based in SE London, close to Waterloo. With an impressive client base comprising UK and International Developers, Freeholders and RMC/RTM’s, they now seek a Senior Service Charge Accountant to act as Head of Service Charge Accounts as follows: * Managing the Service Charge Accounting function in its entirety * Overseeing the team, liaising with the Head of Property Management and reporting directly to the MD * Providing Accounting expertise and guidance in relation to complex budgets, client liaison, auditor liaison and staff training * Utilising QUBE to ensure service charge matters are up to date, accurate and reflective of actions taken * Ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory framework * Bringing about change if necessary to streamline process and provide clients/residents with the best service possible * Initially office based reverting to hybrid working once settled The suitable Head of Service Charge Accounts will have 5 year+ service charge experience, a committed career history, experience of QUBE and ideally (but not essentially) a relevant professional accounting qualification. Salary for the successful Head of Service Charge Accounts will start at up to £60k with reviews and uplifts based on performance and tenure.
