1:1 Year One Teaching Assistant

ASC Teaching Assistant - Wigan: Prospero Teaching are looking for a Level 2 qualified teaching assistant to support a Year 1 pupil with ASC on a 1-2-1 basis, at a mainstream school near Wigan. To be successful in this role, you must be committed to working Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities: 1-2-1 support Providing personal care, including nappy changes Supervising and redirecting to encourage positive behaviour Providing sensory-friendly activities Building rapport with pupils, parents and staffKey Requirements: Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or higher is essential Up to date Safeguarding certificate in the last year (desirable but training can be provided) Good general curriciulum knowledgePosition Details: Location: Wigan Job Role: 1-1 SEN teaching assistant Minimum rate of pay: £100 per day, dependant on experience Hours: 8am-4pm Type of work: Full time Start date: ASAP End date: Ongoing Type of Work: TemporaryTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related referencesOTHER If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up-to-date CV.
