Non-Case Holding Social Worker (PwP and C&F Assessments) Durham, UK £24 - £31 per hour About Us: Randstad is partnering with the Children and Families (C&F) team in Durham to recruit a dedicated Non-Case Holding Social Worker for PwP (Pathway Plan) and C&F Assessments. This role allows you to focus on conducting high-quality assessments without the responsibility of managing a full caseload. Job Description: As a Non-Case Holding Social Worker, you will focus on conducting thorough assessments to support the well-being of children and families. You will work with vulnerable children and families, assessing needs and risks, and contributing to the planning of services without the day-to-day management of cases. Responsibilities: Conduct high-quality Pathway Plan (PwP) assessments for young people transitioning from care. Perform comprehensive Children and Families (C&F) assessments, identifying risks and needs. Work closely with children, families, and multi-agency teams to gather and evaluate information. Attend multi-agency meetings and contribute to the development of child protection and care plans. Qualifications: Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England. Experience in children's services, particularly in conducting assessments. Strong understanding of relevant legislation, safeguarding procedures, and best practices. Excellent communication, analytical, and report-writing skills. Ability to work collaboratively with professionals from different sectors.
