Optimise are currently looking for site managers with an M&E background for contracts in Leeds and Nottingham for 10-month contracts

The Role:

  • Working on a large commercial project supervising electrical teams and co-ordinating the daily activities of the electrical teams.
  • Working with contractors to complete projects on time.
  • Writing up and submitting daily activity reports to the project manager.
  • Working to Electrical Operational Procedures, safe working practices and Health & Safety procedures as required.
  • Providing technical guidance and support to the Dc Power Teams.
  • Contacting outside vendors for parts or when requiring technical assistance.
  • Coordinating and completing site audits and all follow up actions.
  • Helping project managers to conduct health & safety inspections in work areas.
  • Reporting to the Project Manager.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Will have proven experience in a supervisory role overseeing electrical installations on robust M&E projects
  • Will have a recognised electrical qualification.
  • Will hold a valid CSCS/Skill/JIB Card & SSSTS or SMSTS.
  • Will be computer literate.
  • Will have strong planning, organisation, and monitoring abilities.
  • Will work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Will have excellent communication skills.
