Company Overview: We're partnered with an exciting Swedish EV charging start-up. As they expand their presence in the UK, we're seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Sales to lead our commercial strategy and grow their market share. Role Overview: The Head of Sales will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and leading the UK sales operations. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy, building and managing a high-performing sales team, and establishing key partnerships across industries. This is a senior leadership position, ideal for a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales leadership, preferably within the EV or renewable energy sectors. Develop and implement a sales strategy to expand market presence and achieve revenue targets within the UK. Identify and prioritize key market segments, including fleet operators, municipalities, commercial property developers, and residential users. Build, manage, and inspire a high-performing sales team across regions. Set clear performance targets, coach and mentor team members, and foster a results-driven, collaborative sales culture. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable feedback to ensure the team meets KPIs. Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities in the EV charging space. Analyze market data to refine sales strategies, product positioning, and customer acquisition tactics. Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including large corporations, government entities, and infrastructure providers. Work closely with marketing to create and implement lead generation and brand awareness campaigns. Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and market analysis to senior leadership. Use data-driven insights to adjust strategies and optimize sales operations. Experience in sales leadership roles, ideally within the EV charging, renewable energy, or tech sector. A strong background in B2B and enterprise sales with a focus on hardware solutions. Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and scale high-performing sales teams. Excellent leadership, mentoring, and motivational skills with the ability to foster a positive sales culture. Ability to develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies in a rapidly evolving market. Strong business acumen and the ability to manage complex sales cycles and negotiations.
