Job Description:Help strengthen our Team as our IT Programme Manager. Home based role NI, (Northern Ireland), fixed term contract till end of March 2025.Great Opportunity to join our team as our Programme Manager to be responsible for the planning, structuring, leading and direction of a divisional programme of work, a programme of interrelated projects or a large project with major sub-projectsWhat You’ll Be Doing:Plans, directs, and co-ordinates activities to manage and implement interrelated projects from contract/proposal initiation to final operational stage; plans, schedules, monitors, and reports on activities related to the programmeLeads the programme team(s) in determining business requirements and translating requirements into operational plansDetermines, monitors, and reviews all programme economics to include programme costs, operational budgets, staffing requirements, programme resources, and programme riskEnsures that programme is managed to realise business benefits and that programme management is informed by an awareness of current technical developmentsAccountable for the delivery of your programmeWhat we’re looking for:Strong programme management experiencePrince 2 certified or equivalentCore Infrastructure experienceHas proven project management and leadership skills, and a good knowledge of business analysisPrinciples, methods, techniques and tools for the preparation and monitoring of budgets to minimise costs and ensure cost-effectivenessPrinciples, methods, techniques and tools for the effective management of a programme of projects and related activities through to the successful achievement of planned business benefitsExperience of delivering infrastructure and cloud projectsBroadly skilled in information technology so good understanding of desktop, hardware, printers, lan and wanKnowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling programmesBusiness case development and approvals skillsUnderstanding of the procurement process including negotiation with third partiesKnowledge of budgeting and resource allocation proceduresSufficient seniority and credibility to advise project teams on their projects in relation to the programmeAbility to find ways of solving or pre-empting problemsKnowledge of Microsoft ProjectKnowledge of programme and project management methods including MSP, PRINCE2 and AgileEffective leadership, interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to command respect and to create a sense of community amongst the members of the project teamsAble to gain SC clearanceIf this sounds of interest please reach out to [email protected]
