Business Development Executive (Private Sector, UK & Europe) ExTrac is a young, dynamic, and high-growth scaleup. We provide AI-powered risk intelligence solutions and insight to public sector, private sector, and third sector partners to support national security objectives and help organisations keep their people safe. We’re looking for an energised and forward-looking account executive to drive growth across our private sector client base and deliver long term value to our customers, through professional networks, thought leadership, and strategic partnerships. Key Responsibilities: Drive new business growth by identifying and securing new clients in the private sector across the UK and Europe. Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets within assigned regions. Build strong, long-term relationships with C-level executives, decision-makers, and key stakeholders. Generate leads through networking, attending industry events, and leveraging existing connections in the risk analysis and consultancy space. Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring a seamless handover to customer success and support teams. Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, maintaining strong client relationships to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in risk analysis, geopolitical intelligence, as well as artificial intelligence and data science. Collaborate with product teams to provide client feedback and influence the development of new features and solutions tailored to market demands. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities in CRM software. Provide regular reports and sales forecasts to management, tracking key performance metrics and identifying opportunities for growth. Essential Experience and Qualifications: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, account management, or SaaS sales, with a proven track record of success. Existing experience in the risk analysis, risk consultancy, geopolitical intelligence, or related sectors, including a track record of selling threat and risks analysis solutions to the finance, insurance, maritime, aviation, or energy sectors. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong networking abilities with an established professional network in the risk analysis or consultancy sectors in the UK and across Europe. Proven ability to manage long and complex sales cycles. Desirable Experience and Qualifications: Understanding of global geopolitical dynamics and the ability to communicate complex risk concepts to a non-technical audience. Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup or scale-up environment. Knowledge of threat intelligence, cybersecurity, or crisis management solutions. What We Offer: A salary range of £70,000 - £90,000, based on skills and experience. A competitive commission package.
