This role reports into the General Counsel and is responsible for one direct report. Responsibilities will include partnering with the HR Department and other business functions on a broad range of employment related matters and will advise all levels of the business across EMEA; participating in the development of legally sound policies and programs in all areas of labor and employment law, including salary matters, discipline, counselling and termination, all aspects of laws regarding discrimination, wrongful and unfair termination; advising on the Company’s relationship with Works Councils and/or Trade Unions; Company-wide employment issues, operational issues and Compliance/Data Privacy assist in the management of external counsel relationships and budgets; and educating on trends and legal actions which may affect the workplace through written materials or training seminars.
To be successful in this role, you must have trained at a highly regarded law firm with experience working with Employment matters across EMEA. Previous or current in-house experience will be beneficial. This role would best suit someone who ideally has a minimum of 12 years’ PQE as this will be a senior position, however all levels of experience will be considered.
