Position Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality Inspector to enhance our Quality department. This role is crucial for ensuring the highest quality standards in our Supplier Quality and Quality Engineering operations. You will be responsible for interpreting technical documents, conducting visual and dimensional inspections, and maintaining the quality of materials and components using advanced measurement equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
Technical Mastery: Interpret technical documentation with a keen understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
Visual Inspections: Collaborate with the quality team, warehouse, and manufacturing units to perform diligent visual inspections.
Dimensional Inspections: Execute precise dimensional inspections using both CMM and manual equipment, ensuring efficient workflow.
Quality Decisions: Make decisive actions regarding the acceptance or rejection of materials based on stringent requirements.
Inspection Plans: Develop Inspection Plans and Control Plans to establish criteria and methodologies.
Documentation Management: Manage reject documentation in alignment with company protocols.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensure measurement equipment accuracy through vigilant operation, repair, and calibration.
System Proficiency: Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 MRP system for product inspection transactions.

Qualifications:
Experience: Demonstrable metrology experience within a manufacturing context, preferably in high-volume automotive production or similar industries.
Technical Proficiency: Expertise in PPAP / FAIR submissions or equivalent processes.
Measurement Skills: Skilled in using hand tools, CMM, and associated measurement systems, with a preference for PC-DMIS software familiarity.
Attention to Detail: Unwavering commitment to detail and a systematic, logical approach to ensure measurement and record precision.
