Job Title: Sales Executive Location: Peterborough, with potential travel across Greater London and the United Kingdom. Their head office is based in Peterborough and you would be required to be in the office a minimum of 2 days a week. The role is mix of office-based between the usual working hours of Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:00 and will involve travel to and from prospective clients, sites and on the road while scoping out new opportunities. Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Sales Executive to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, forging strong relationships with key industry stakeholders, and securing new business opportunities. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced industry with a focus on safety and compliance. Key Responsibilities: • Lead Generation and Prospecting: Identify and pursue new business opportunities by targeting clients and projects requiring fire protection solutions. Initiate contact and develop leads into long-term partnerships. • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, assess demand, evaluate competition, and spot emerging opportunities. • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with architects, builders, contractors, and other stakeholders to build trust and secure partnerships. • Proposal Development: Collaborate with technical and operations teams to develop tailored proposals that meet client needs, highlighting the benefits of our products and services. • Negotiation and Sales: Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients. Close deals and secure contracts for fire protection solutions, including fire doors and fire resistant materials. • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to identify new opportunities, expand client relationships, and drive revenue growth. • Networking and Industry Events: Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to connect with potential clients, stay updated on industry developments, and showcase our offerings. • Client Relationship Management: Maintain ongoing relationships with clients post contract, ensuring satisfaction, addressing concerns, and identifying opportunities for additional services. Requirements: • Proven track record in sales, with exceptional communication and negotiation skills. • Self-motivated, with strong organizational and time management abilities. • Professional, well-presented, and approachable demeanour. • Ability to manage your own schedule, including arranging and attending meetings with prospective clients.
