Mechanical Design & Manufacturing Engineer

ROLE- Mechanical Design / Manufacturing Engineer LOCATION- Berkshire TERM- Permanent SALARY- £40,000- £52,000 per annum dependent on experience (Please advise what youre looking for) My engineering client are looking to take on an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with manufacturing skills, on a permanent basis, in the Berkshire area. The Mechanical Design Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: NVQ/ HNC / HND / Degree qualification in a Mechanical Engineering 4 years or more experience working in another similar hands on Design / Manufacturing role Proficient working with 3D CAD - SolidWorks or similar Excellent knowledge of lean manufacturing principles Knowledge of FMEA, PPAP and APQP would be desirable Be familiar with ISO9001 quality standards Be able to pay close attention to detail Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Able to work well alone as well as part of a small team The Mechanical Design Engineer / ManufacturingEngineer role will involve: Supporting the engineering and production team with the design and development of products Being involved in NPI activities Providing engineering support Using SolidWorks CAD software on a regular basis Being involved with process development Working to the companies Health & Safety requirements Creating and updating BOMs TPBN1_UKTJ
