We’re looking for a talented and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our team and help us drive engagement with our users.

Role Overview As the Senior Business Develoement Manager for Invision360, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and establishing strong relationships with clients. This position requires a strategic mindset, exceptional leadership abilities, and a keen understanding of the local government landscape. Your primary focus will be on fostering long-term partnerships, spearheading business development initiatives, and ensuring that the sales and business development function at Invision360 is operating at a high level. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead sales efforts for a market-leading SaaS company serving local authorities. Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy tailored to the unique needs and challenges of local authorities. Identify key market segments, potential clients, and growth opportunities to achieve revenue targets. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive individual and collective success. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the sales team. Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within local authorities. Understand clients' objectives, challenges, and pain points to tailor solutions that address their specific needs. Business Development: Drive outbound sales efforts to prospect, engage, and convert new clients, leveraging a mix of cold outreach, networking, and relationship-building activities. Identify partnership opportunities, strategic alliances, and channels for expanding the company's reach within the local government sector. Sales Process Optimization: Continuously assess and refine sales processes, methodologies, and tools to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices for pipeline management, lead generation, and conversion optimization. Market Analysis and Insights: Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics impacting the local government sector. Utilise market insights to inform product development, pricing strategies, and go-to-market approaches.

Qualifications and Skills Relevant qualification in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is desired (but not essential) Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the SaaS industry, with a focus on selling to local government entities. Strong understanding of the local government procurement process, compliance requirements, and budgeting cycles. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade at executive levels. Strategic thinker with the ability to translate market insights into actionable sales initiatives. Results-driven mindset with a passion for exceeding targets and driving revenue growth. Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the capacity to inspire, motivate, and empower a sales team. Proficiency in CRM software (e.g. Hubspot), sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office suite.
