Legal Counsel - 7+ PQE - Purpose Led Investment Business

Are you an experienced corporate lawyer who is looking to add value to a purpose led business?Our ClientA global purpose led business is looking to add a dynamic commercial and corporate lawyer with strong commercial contracting experience to their legal team. You will support the business on non-transactional work. My client works across infrastructure/technology/energy and as such experience in such areas would be a bonusMy client is looking for a seasoned corporate lawyer ideally with extensive and proven contracts experience and is someone who will be motivated by the client's development mission and ideally demonstrate some commitment to their social goalsResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate's work will include (but not be limited to):Negotiation of commercial contracts (including information technology, real estate, and travel supplier contracts), consultancy agreements, non-disclosure agreements etc.Maintenance and management of commercial contract precedents and templates, including updating for legal, policy or regulatory changesWorking with Procurement to ensure supplier contracts are managed appropriatelyAdvising the business on data protection and Freedom of Information Act issuesSupporting the Chief Legal Officer, General Counsel and Company Secretary on corporate matters and initiativesQualifications7+ PQE England and Wales Qualified Lawyer with training from a recognised City firmRecent in-house corporate experience working on commercial contract negotiation and managementBroader experience of data protection issues, issues arising from activities in developing markets and working on company registration and maintenance in the UK and abroad is preferredAttention to detail, strong project and time-management skillsWhat is on offer for you?Competitive six figure base salaryBonusOpportunity to work for a Purpose led Business on meaningful mattersFlexible working (2 days in the office)To apply, please email your CV to [email protected]
