Mechanical Project Manager - Join a Growing M&E Contractor

Are you a skilled Mechanical Project Manager looking to make a significant impact on high-profile commercial and data center projects?

Our rapidly expanding M&E contractor is seeking a talented individual to join our dynamic team in London and the Home Counties. As a Mechanical Project Manager, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of cutting-edge projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Manage all aspects of project delivery, including design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Prepare detailed project plans, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to the project team.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within a Building Services or Mechanical Contracting environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Membership of relevant professional bodies (e.g., CIBSE, CIOB, CSCS, IET).
  • Health and Safety qualification (e.g., CITB Site Safety Training Scheme - SMSTS).

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
  • Previous experience in commercial or data center environments.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proven leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of the Construction Design and Management (CDM) 2015 Regulations and Common Safety Method (CSM) 2013 Regulations.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.

Rate: 350 - 400 per day (DOE)
