The Project As an experienced Site Engineer, you will work closely with Site and Technical teams to provide engineering guidance and ensure the smooth delivery of new housing developments across Cumbria. You will ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the specified quality and will conduct detailed surveys to a high standard. Requirements For this role it is essential that you hold the qualifications / experience below; Proven history of working with market leading housing contractors Experience working in a Site Engineering position within the housing / residential sector Relevant Industry Qualification and/or at least 5 years minimum within the industry working in a build/civil engineering positionKnowledge / Skills IT Skills Commercial Awareness Excellent attention to detail Experienced in the use of AutoCAD Extensive knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office Prior interaction with NHBC / LABS / SBD standards Strong understanding of construction laws and regulations Knowledge of legal frameworks associated with planning management The Role Job Title: Site Engineer Job Type: Permanent Project: Various New Build Housing Developments Location: Cumbria, North West Reporting to: Technical Manager Duties Surveying Tendering Setting Out Problem solving Quality Assurance Identify on site issues Provide design support Attend design meetings Supervise on site labour Develop project briefings Mentorship of junior engineers Attend subcontractor meetings Ensure on site health and safety Support during feasibility studies Ensure compliance with planning Adhere to current H&S regulations Ensure HNBC regulations are met Coordinate appointment of utilities Create as built surveys and log data Assist with appointing subcontractors Provide expert engineering knowledge Procurement of engineering packages Attend and contribute in project related meetings Provide progress updates to the Technical Manager Management of onsite labour including subcontractors Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to create reports Provide Technical Advice to project team members and Clients Reporting in to and working closely with the Senior Management Team This is a permanent position with a competitive salary on offer for the successful candidate.
