Customer Service Advisor Location: Gloucester, Gloucestershire Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm Salary: £25,000 per annum + excellent benefits Job Description Our client is seeking a Customer Service Advisor / Service Coordinator to join their Scheduling team. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with the Team Lead and Scheduling Manager to ensure that service appointments are scheduled efficiently. Key Responsibilities of a Customer Service Advisor * Schedule service visits for technicians, ensuring efficient allocation of resources. * Confirm appointments and handle customer enquiries in a friendly and professional manner. * Manage scheduling conflicts and make adjustments as needed to keep operations running smoothly. * Work closely with other departments to align schedules with business needs. * Maintain accurate records using scheduling software and provide updates as needed. * Monitor technician availability and performance to ensure service deadlines are met. Key Skills of a Customer Service Advisor * At least one year of experience in an office based customer-service, admin or scheduling role. * Strong knowledge of UK geography to effectively manage technician routes. * Team player with great communication and people skills. * Highly organised with strong time-management skills. * Proficient with scheduling software and MS Office; quick to learn new systems. * Able to handle pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. * Experience in the industry is a plus, but not essential.
