SEND Specialist - Teaching Assistant

Milk Education are recruiting on behalf of a Special School in Huyton that supports children with complex, severe, profound and multiple learning difficultiesaged between 11-19. The school are recruiting for a Child Support Worker that will work term time only from September 2024, and work 08.30 - 15:30 Monday - Friday. As a Child Support Worker, you will be responsible for supporting the Class Teacher with delivering the lessons, keeping pupils engaged, managing behaviour and in some cases assisting with feeding and changing depending on the needs of the pupils in the class. Child Support Worker Roles & Responsibilities: ● Following School Policies ● Assisting with feeding and personal care ● Assisting Cass Teacher with delivering lessons Child Support Worker Non-negotiables: ● Must have recent/relevant experience working with children or adults with learning disabilities either in care or education. ● Must be comfortable providing personal care ● Must have Maths and English C and above at GCSE Level Why choose Milk?
