Job Requirements / Description
The Education Business Development Manager is part of the Education team and who's role it is to find new logos to further enhance the portfolio of the company. The role also requires the ability to identify additional opportunities in an account, aligning a revenue generating sales model and identifying appropriate solutions within the company's range of services and applying a strategy to engage with the relevant decision makers. Identfiying new business opportunities in Further Education and Independent Schools.
Creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities
Build relationships influencing key decision makers to develop long term strategic relationship as a trusted advisor in new FE's and Independent Schools.
Creation and execution of Account Plans
Position a mix of Product, Service and support solutions to schools.
Staying up to date with trends in the Education sector
Positioning this company as the preferred Education partner in providing Apple first portfolio managed services, supporting professional development and a wide range of EdTech solutions. Build upon our existing account base with new customers.
Identifying and developing new opportunities within the Education sector
Work with the Sales leaders and wider business teams cohesively to deliver a collective message, whilst also having the experience to be independent on a day to day basis.
An ability to position and sell service and support orientated solutions in various into Further Education and Independent schools.
Managing Salesforce forecasting and the ability to reflect an accurate pipeline of business
Account management and customer engagement, understanding how to work with a demanding Education customer base
Represent the company at local and national events
Education, skills, knowledge and experience:
A track record of achieving targets in selling both products and services in an Business Development Role
Demonstratable knowledge of the Education sector and its nuances
Experience in broadening relations from Educators to Heads of departments up to Senior Management Teams and C-level.
An understanding of Salesforce preferred but not essential
