Senior Product Engineer

IC Resources are currently looking for a Product Engineer on a contract basis who play a key role in the development and lifecycle management of ARM microcontroller-based and ASIC products. This position is integral to managing the release of products through the complete lifecycle, from prototype to production, working closely with cross-functional teams globally. The role involves developing test plans, analysing data, performing failure analysis, and driving yield improvements with manufacturing partners. Product Engineer - 6 Month Contract Location - Edinburgh Key Responsibilities: Lifecycle Management : Oversee product release from design through production, ensuring specification compliance. Testing & Analysis : Develop and execute test plans, analyse data using statistical methods, and identify root causes for failures. Collaboration : Work closely with teams across design, testing, manufacturing, and customer support to resolve issues and ensure smooth production. Reliability & Qualification : Manage product reliability and ensure compliance with JEDEC and AEC-Q100 standards. Required Skills & Qualifications: Education : Bachelor’s in Engineering (Master’s preferred). Skills : Strong knowledge of ARM microcontrollers, analog ASICs, production testing, and statistical tools (Excel, JMP). Location : Ability to work onsite in Edinburgh, Scotland, 2-3 days per week.
