Cloud Application Architect - App Modernization
As a Cloud Architect, you will guide clients in adopting and optimizing cloud technologies to achieve their business goals. You'll assess their infrastructure, develop cloud strategies, and drive innovation, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
We are looking for someone with hands-on experience of application transformation. Moving large-scale applications from on-premise to automated cloud-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and technical challenges.
- Assess legacy applications for modernization and optimization opportunities.
- Develop and implement cloud-native architectures using microservices, containers, and serverless computing.
- Define migration strategies for transitioning to cloud environments.
- Integrate applications into DevOps pipelines for automated deployment and continuous delivery.
- Implement containerization and orchestration solutions (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Design and manage API strategies for seamless integration.
- Ensure security and compliance of modernized applications.
- Provide training on cloud-native technologies and best practices.
Skills / Experience:
- Proficient in Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
- Expertise in Azure, AWS, GCP, and Private Cloud.
- Strong understanding of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and cloud-native services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications (desirable):
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect
- Google Professional Cloud Architect – GCP
