Procurement Transformation Lead • Location : UK Wide (Remote first) • Salary : London - Up to £70,000 | Regional - Up to £68,000 Overview We are seeking a dynamic Procurement Transformation Lead to join one of the Big 4 consultancies, renowned globally for their expertise across various disciplines including Customer Experience and Digital, Strategy, Forensic, Risk and Regulatory, People and Talent, and Operational and Financial Transformation. The Role This exciting position offers the opportunity to enhance procurement knowledge and skills across UK central government and the wider public sector. You will lead a large-scale training and development programme centered on the latest parliamentary legislation and accompanying regulations. Key Responsibilities Delivering educational programs that inspire and engage, fostering a positive, learner-focused online environment. Providing in-depth knowledge of procurement processes such as category management, strategic sourcing, contract management, supplier relationship management, purchase to pay (P2P), and supplier risk management. Leading and managing procurement capabilities within the public sector. Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end procurement lifecycle and core public procurement policies, including the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and new procurement legislation. Designing and implementing changes in procurement operating models to help learners grasp the impact of new legislation on their operations. Requirements Proven experience in educating, motivating, and coaching, with a focus on creating a positive learning experience. Detailed knowledge of procurement processes and experience in public sector procurement management. Hands-on experience with the complete procurement lifecycle and familiarity with public procurement regulations. Demonstrable skills in designing and implementing procurement operating model changes to align with new legislative requirements.
