I've just taken on an exciting opportunity at an established multi-disciplinary London based practice. This is a permanent position with a salary in the range of £60,000 - £70,000pa depending on experience.
This is a Senior level opportunity and is an ideal role for those of you looking for a leadership/management position but also keen to get stuck into aspects of a more typical Architecture position. You'll need to demonstrate a high level of communication and should have good client facing experience. Carrying on with this theme you'll be coordinating between various departments- Masterplanning, Architecture, Interior Design and Landscape.
You'll need some Project Management experience as this role straddles both Architecture and Project management responsibilities. Experience with budgeting and being involved within the financial side of projects and teams is required. It's an opportunity for those with 5 years post qualification experience. As well as have a track record of working across all RIBA stages you'll be managing small terms, leading design meetings, lead the developments and implementation of architectural projects.
The work is nice and varied, the company are heavily involved with large scale mixed-use schemes, residential and commercial developments. You'll need to have experience in some of these areas. They are working on projects both in the UK and The Middle East, it would be hugely beneficial to have experience of working on projects in the Middle East.
The main software in use are Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, 3DS Max and the Adobe Suite. Whilst you won't need to be the worlds best user in all of these you'll need at least an intermediate understanding or have experience of managing teams using the required software.
