We are looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join a motivated and collaborative team. This role offers the unique opportunity to take ownership of projects and participate in all phases of the design process.
Primary Duties:
- Develop and optimise low voltage AC/DC systems, prioritising performance and durability.
- Convert initial concepts into comprehensive designs using CAD tools like SolidWorks Electrical, including detailed schematics and layouts.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Expertise in CAD software such as SolidWorks Electrical or equivalent.
- Proven track record in designing low voltage AC/DC systems.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and safety protocols.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and develop electrical drawings, including cable and connector designs.
- Strong experience in selecting appropriate components for system designs.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Strong communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
