Event Administrator

Events AdministratorPermanent - up to £30,000paWe are seeking an Events Administrator to help our client with their enhanced and expanded events programme. Working with the events team and members, you will help support the development and delivery of a vibrant events programme which will support the drive to a more sustainable finance system and help deliver their mission to connect the sustainable finance community, share knowledge and successfully influence government policy. In the past three years, they have grown from a five-person to an eleven-person team; this is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of a rapidly growing organisation at the forefront of sustainable finance. This role will suit an experienced administrator or an ambitious graduate, a quick learner, who takes ownership of projects and would like to grow and develop with a dynamic team.About the Role:What will you be responsible for?Playing a key role in the delivery of an expansive events programme, ensuring every event attendee and speaker has a great experience. This includes:supporting event logisticsliaison with event venuescoordinating delegate attendance and speaker briefingsdrafting membership communications and event invitationson-site events assistanceday-to-day admin of the events teamkeeping the events website updatedContributing to the development of the overall events strategySupporting the organisations' wider work, including membership engagement, communications and policy events.What skills and qualifications will you need to thrive?Person SpecificationThe successful applicant must have:A passion for sustainability, climate change and social issuesGood team working skillsBrilliant attention to detailThe ability to balance multiple projects at onceExcellent communication skillsDesirable:Experience working within small organisationsSome experience in events adminSome financial services or sustainability topic knowledgeThis lively team who are incredibly passionate about sustainable finance and making a difference, deliver a fantastic series of events and networking opportunities for their members.
